Privacy Policy

Attente is developed by Justin Morris. This policy describes how the app handles your data. The short version: your data stays yours, and the app collects as little as possible.
No Account Required
Attente does not require sign-up or login. There are no user accounts.
No Advertising or Analytics
The app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. No data is collected or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
iCloud Sync (CloudKit)
Event data syncs via Apple's CloudKit to your own iCloud account. This data is stored and managed by Apple under their iCloud privacy policy. No event data is sent to the developer's servers.
Diagnostics (Sentry)
Attente uses Sentry to collect diagnostic data for analytics purposes — specifically to monitor app stability and improve performance. The following data types may be collected:
- Crash Data — crash logs and stack traces
- Performance Data — app launch times, response times, and resource usage
- Other Diagnostic Data — device model, OS version, and app state information
This data is used for analytics only and is not linked to your identity. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected. See Sentry's privacy policy for more details.
Calendar Access (EventKit)
With your permission, Attente can import events from your device calendar. Calendar data stays on-device and in your iCloud account. It is not sent to any external server.
Notifications
Local notifications are used for countdown reminders. All notification data stays on-device.
Data Not Collected
- No location data
- No personal data sold to anyone
- No data shared with third parties for tracking or advertising
